I believe so. I had a horrible childhood. Really awful things happened. As an adult, I was raped. As twisted as it sounds I was actually glad that he picked me, as opposed to someone that was less prepared. I knew that I could handle it. My life had prepared me for that moment. When I was a kid though, I remember crying and asking God why all the time. After I survived the rape, I didnt need to ask any more. I am not a religious nut or even a good Christian, but I can say that God has always given me what I needed not what I wanted necessarily. There is always a bigger picture that I cant see or understand whenever anything happens.
