Yes of course, its human nature to do so. Its a form of self preservation, I mean look at the extremes.brbr Say you see someone walking towards you with boils, coughing, gasping for air and bleeding. You are probably going to stay away at first, as its natural to judge they might have a contagious illness.brbr Also consider if you are going to restaurant to eat and you see the waitress is dressed in dirty, stained, torn and clearly unhygienic cloths you are going to think twice about ordering encase the food is contaminated. brbrThese scenarios tho extreme, prove that we as humans make judgements on initial looks. We cant just switch these safety mechanisms that have formed over thousands of years off. brbrThe only differnce between people is how long they allow their first impressions to then influence their feelings towards a person, once they have had the chance to get to know them better. This lasting impression people build is based on personality and each individuals personal experiences, unlike the instinctual first impressions we all make.
