Question
Does God bringallow problems into our lives to make us stronger, to perfect us?
I have heard preaching like this many, many times. I read Psalm earlier today. Asaph certainly thought that. It fills me with resentment, and anger. I cant love someone who would bringallow this kind of pain, for ANY purpose, regardless of the outcome. Yes, I know there arehave been many people who suffered a GREAT deal more than me, and did not fall, but here I am. The garden of Eden was a setup, his plan was for us to learn patience through suffering. quotThe lamb slain before the creation of the world.quot There is a Pslam, which I cant find right now, that says The Lord learned patience through what he suffered. God wanted to learn patience through suffering?! If you know the Psalm, please tell me where it is. I expect some answers like, quotget over it, we sinnedquot, but that does not, or did not change the plan. He knew. I am disappointed in God. He was nothas not always there. Joy is no longer an option.
Answer
well he does not control our actions, yes, he knew what each of us would do in the end but he gave us free choice and he does not control us or the things that happen to us we control us!! though he does bring something good out of the bad times. and he has never and will never bring to us a challnge that we can not overcome. also you will not understand God or anything he does fully right now because he is not human he is not what you think he could be and you can never comprehend what and how he is and why he does things he is just that great that you or i or anyone else will ever understand anything about him fully!!
